Snowy Utah Bridals

Bri and Isaac eloped a few months ago and decided that it was finally the right time to take their bridals. We came up with an awesome plan that involved two separate locations and a cute dinner for the two afterward. About a week before the shoot, we checked the forecast and had the awesome surprise of snow on the date we had planned for! We were all pretty stoked, Bri and I were stoked for how epic the pictures would look with snow falling while Isaac was stoked to finally see Bri in her dress.

You would think that after a few months of being married the nerves for seeing her in the dress would’ve faded, but that definitely wasn’t the case. At the first location Isaac was so excited and nervous I thought the suspense for Bri to arrive might kill him.

The beautiful snowy backdrop in the Mount Timpanogos park was the perfect backdrop for their first look. Right after Isaac turned around, he couldn’t stop raving about how incredible she looked. Bri’s dress was absolutely stunning with the fresh snow surrounding her. The snow absolutely couldn’t put a damper on these two. Their love for one another seemed even to lessen the cold for a moment.

After their first look we got in our cars and headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah to take their epic Bridals. We trekked up a snowy hillside surrounded by beautiful jagged rocks that seemed to be jutting up into the sky. As Isaac and Bri explored together I got started shooting. The snow began falling a little more heavily which made for some sweet pictures. Of course we took jacket breaks and plenty of hug breaks to keep warm in the snow, so the cold wasn’t nearly like we thought it would be. AND we had the chance to take pictures Bri and Isaac will never forget.

Utah in the winter is perfect for bridals and elopements. With the help of handwarmers and leggings, any spot is available and will look 100x more epic. I would suggest the snow dusted mountains of the Big Cottonwood Canyon to anyone looking to have a perfect winter wedding.

Are you as excited as I am to take some winter pictures?
